PROJECT OVERVIEW: CMP were to install combi-walls for two new berths for High Speed and Ro-Ro Ferries on reclaimed land adjacent to the existing ferry terminal.

WORKS DESCRIPTION:

• Combi-wall comprised 173 no. 1420mm dia CHS piles up to 30m long and over 500 sheet piles
• Additional installation of 20 no. raking dolphin piles 915mm dia up to 40m long
• Piles installed using 250t crawler crane on a 40m spudleg barge
• CHS Piles driven with PVE50M vibro hammer and BSP1146 14t impact hammer
• Sheet Piles driven with PVE25M vibro hammer and HPH1200 impact hammer
