PROJECT: Darsa Hythe Jetty Refurbishment

PROJECT OVERVIEW: CMP were contracted to refurbish a 300m concrete jetty within an American Naval Base, including the demolition, fabrication and replacement of the entire concrete deck.

WORKS DESCRIPTION:

• Survey existing structure to obtain dimensions for new bespoke pre-cast decking units
• Remove and dispose of existing concrete deck
• Strip and replace bracings, utilising tidal shift patterns and in-house diving team
• Float pre-cast units into position and lift to structure using CMP's floating lifting plant
• Fit ancillaries including 80 specially fabricated braces calling for the diamond drilling and coring of 480 holes
