CMP use the HPH 1200 Dawson piling hammer which is a double acting hydraulic hammer perfectly suited for driving sheet piles, steel profiles and timber piles. They are good choices especially for cohesive soils (stiff clays) and dense granular material or soft rocks where vibratory hammers may meet problems. The hammers are operated solely by hydraulics. There are no electrical parts. They have rapid blow rates and high energy transfer that is infinitely adjustable between minimum and maximum at the touch of a button. The compact enclosed design simplifies application and handling whilst protecting vital components and thereby lead to low maintenance costs. Depending of the size the the hammers can be operated from hydraulic excavators, hydraulic crawler cranes and most powerpacks. The model designation refers to the max transferable energy in kgm. Dawson manufacturers hammers from 1200 kgm (12 kNm) to 10.000 kgm (100 kNm). Only the relatively small and light Dawson hammers HPH 1200 and HPH 2400 are presented here. Technical qualities |
