PROJECT OVERVIEW: CMP were contracted to demolish 7 No 114m long 5m wide dolphins.

WORKS DESCRIPTION:

• Deck slab and support beams cut into 90 No separate sections using state-of-the-art diamond wire cutting technology
• 'A' frame barge manoeuvred to support cut deck section using barge prow on one side and the barge 'A' frame on the other
• Concrete support piles cut at water level
• Entire deck sections weighing 38 tonnes lifted clear and transported ashore
• Total concrete tonnage of over 3000 tonnes crushed for re-use
