PROJECT OVERVIEW: CMP were contracted to part-design and fully construct a 130m long steel framed wavescreen for a 600 berth marina situated at the entrance of Portsmouth Harbour.

WORKS DESCRIPTION:

• Assist with the structural design steel framed wavescreen to ensure ease of installation
• Install 50 Nr tubular guide piles
• Fabricate steel bracing structures ashore and float into approximate position using airbags designed by CMP
• Each structure sunk into position over the tubular guide piles using accurate buoyancy control techniques
• Grout the steel structure to the tubular guide piles
• Install hardwood timber facing to the whole of the structure
• Install 200 pontoon mooring piles
