PROJECT OVERVIEW: CMP were contracted to install rock-socketed piles to support Holyhead footbridge.

WORKS DESCRIPTION:

Phase 1 -

• Mobilise and position the General Zee jack-up barge
• Drive casing tubes into rock from jack-up barge
• Drill socket through casing tubes and clean out debris
• Install steel reinforcement structures within casing tubes
• Fill casing with concrete
• Install pre-cast concrete crossheads on top of piles
• Place and install pre-cast concrete decking beams

• Continuation of rock-socketed foundation piling works from phase 1 but completed from the shore rather than the jack-up barge
