PROJECT OVERVIEW: With CMP as main contractor, the works completed at the prestigious Poole Bridge are a testament to the company's ability to work in extreme adverse conditions. Indeed 90% of the works were undertaken by our in-house diving team in some of the strongest tidal flows in Europe, in a live shipping lane, often hindered by cramped conditions under the bridge. Despite this the works were completed on time and on budget.

WORKS DESCRIPTION:

• Install concrete abutment and associated gabion baskets under bridge in tidal conditions
• Denso wrap columns under bridge
• Excavate trench accross river span for installation of 2nr utility ducts
• Float ducts across river and sink using innovative winch system
• Install gabion baskets over pipeline trench
• Total diving time approximately 150hrs
