PROJECT OVERVIEW: CMP were contracted to remove 3 wartime concrete slipways and replace with a completely new-built steel and timber wavescreen.

WORKS DESCRIPTION:

• Remove and dispose of 3 Nr concrete slipways
• Drive 60 No tubular piles
• Fabricate and attach steel frames to piles
• Install Ekki timber screen boards to frames (total of 2300sqm)
• Dredge 6000m3 of silt
• Install sheet piles to landside of the structure
• Construct and install 2 Nr steel structure entrance dolphins including fenders
