PROJECT OVERVIEW: CMP were contracted to widen the leisure pier on two sides to allow the owner to install a new fire escape system required by new fire regulations.

WORKS DESCRIPTION:

• Drive 24 No 500mm diameter steel piles
• Prefabricate trusses and associate steels
• Weld steels to piles and install structural supports
• 75% of works completed from the beach during low water periods
• Remainder of works carried out from seaward end using CMP's Spudleg barge
